Artist Statement: Micro and macro views of the physical environment and the relationships between them are endlessly captivating. Satellite views of a river valley might mirror the shapes of a neural pathway while a cross section of cells might reference a cross section of earth. Brilliantly colored microscopic cellular images became inspiration for “Santé”.
