Several exhibit venues are in the final stages of negotiation. You will be notified of all exhibit venues in advance. We encourage you to attend any receptions when the exhibit is in your area. If volunteers are needed for installation or staffing, you can expect the curators to contact you!

If you have information about other venues for which the Stitched Together exhibit would be a good fit, please send the information to your curators, Pat Kroth and Cynthia Wenslow (

Publicize the exhibit on your website, blog, FB, Twitter, other social media accounts, and in local media. Send e-vites or postcards to your mailing list, friends and family. Attend local receptions, offer to give a talk or demo. Remember, if your work is for sale, nothing helps sell it like personally meeting the artist at a reception! Help pack, install or de-install an exhibit when it is near you.

Insurance during initial shipment to, and return from, the Stitched Together Curator or representative is the responsibility of the artist. The Stitched Together Curator or representative will arrange to ship the artworks during the exhibition schedule and SAQA will insure it during the exhibition and while it travels.

Artwork may be for sale, HOWEVER, It is the policy of SAQA that once work is accepted, it cannot be withdrawn for any reason until the end of the run of all exhibits. ALL ARTWORK MUST REMAIN WITH THE EXHIBIT FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE EXHIBIT SCHEDULE.

If an artwork is sold, the artist will be notified. The Sold artwork can be shipped directly to the purchaser, upon completion of the transaction, after the close of the exhibit tour in Fall 2018.

SAQA does not take a commission on artwork sold from any regional exhibition. Individual venues may do so if they handle the sale, but the commission will never exceed 50%.

Stitched Together curators and delegated representatives will be responsible for careful handling, storage and installation of the artwork, but do not assume personal liability for loss or damage of artwork. Images contained in the artwork may be reproduced for educational and promotional purposes only. Individual artists maintain exclusive copyright for all artwork.
